The Southwest Annual Conference serves churches across Southwest and portions of West Central Georgia within the Sixth Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Its geographic reach includes communities along the Chattahoochee Valley and surrounding counties. As part of the AME Church’s governing structure, the conference gathers clergy and laity for worship, fellowship, reporting, and visioning. Ministry within the conference is supported through two Presiding Elder Districts: the Eastern District and the Central District.
