CHRISTIAN DEBUTANTES AND MASTERS COMMISSION (CDMC)

The Christian Debutantes and Masters Commission (CDMC) of the 6th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church is a transformative ministry dedicated to guiding young men and women in their spiritual growth, Christian identity, and leadership development. Designed for youth transitioning into adulthood, the CDMC instills values of faith, service, and excellence while celebrating their commitment to Christ and the AME Church. Through mentorship, training, and a sacred dedication ceremony, participants are empowered to embrace their purpose, strengthen their relationship with God, and serve their communities with integrity. CHRISTIAN EDUCATION DEPARTMENT (CED)

The Christian Education Department of the 6th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church is committed to equipping believers of all ages with biblical knowledge, spiritual formation, and discipleship training. Grounded in the AME Church’s mission to foster faith, wisdom, and service, our department provides resources, programs, and leadership development that empower individuals to grow in their relationship with Christ. Through Sunday School, Bible studies, leadership training, and youth engagement initiatives, we seek to cultivate a strong foundation of faith and a deeper understanding of God’s Word. LAY ORGANIZATION

The Lay Organization of the 6th Episcopal District is dedicated to equipping and empowering laity for effective leadership and service within the church and community. Rooted in the AME Church’s mission of faith, education, and social justice, the Lay Organization promotes spiritual growth, leadership development, and active engagement in the work of the church. Through training, advocacy, and outreach, we strengthen the connection between clergy and laity, ensuring that all members are informed, engaged, and committed to advancing God’s kingdom. Join us as we work together to uphold the legacy of the AME Church and make a lasting impact in our communities!

MINISTERS' SPOUSES, WIDOWS, WIDOWERS, AND PREACHERS' KIDS (MS-WAWO+PKs)

The Ministers’ Spouses, Widows, Widowers, and Preachers’ Kids (MS-WAWO+PKs) of the 6th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church is a supportive ministry dedicated to uplifting and strengthening the families of those called to serve in ministry. This organization provides spiritual encouragement, fellowship, and resources tailored to the unique experiences of ministers’ spouses, widows, widowers, and children of clergy. Through prayer, mentorship, and community-building activities, MS-WAWO+PKs fosters a nurturing environment where members can grow in faith, find strength in shared experiences, and continue the legacy of service within the AME Church. Join us as we honor, support, and empower those who stand alongside and behind our church leaders!

RICHARD ALLEN YOUNG ADULT COUNCIL (RAYAC)

The Richard Allen Young Adult Council (RAYAC) of the 6th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church is a dynamic ministry dedicated to equipping and empowering young adults (ages 18-40) to grow in faith, leadership, and service. Rooted in the legacy of Richard Allen, RAYAC provides a space for young adults to engage in spiritual formation, community outreach, and social justice initiatives while strengthening their connection to the AME Church. Through worship, mentorship, and networking opportunities, we inspire young adults to live out their faith boldly and make a meaningful impact in the church and the world. SONS OF ALLEN (SOA)

The Sons of Allen Men’s Ministry of the 6th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church is dedicated to strengthening the spiritual, moral, and social development of men within the church and community. Named in honor of AME Church founder Richard Allen, this ministry empowers men to grow in faith, leadership, and service through discipleship, mentorship, and outreach. Committed to building strong families, churches, and communities, the Sons of Allen encourage men to live out their faith with integrity and purpose. Join us as we unite in worship, fellowship, and mission to make a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God!

WOMEN IN MINISTRY (WIM)

The Women In Ministry (WIM) of the 6th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church is a dynamic organization committed to equipping, supporting, and empowering women called to preach, teach, and lead in ministry. Rooted in the AME Church’s legacy of faith, justice, and service, WIM provides mentorship, spiritual formation, and leadership development for women clergy and aspiring ministers. Through fellowship, advocacy, and training, we foster a supportive community where women in ministry can thrive while fulfilling their divine calling. WOMEN'S MISSIONARY SOCIETY (WMS)

The Women’s Missionary Society (WMS) of the 6th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church is a dynamic and faith-driven organization committed to serving God through mission work, evangelism, and community outreach. Rooted in the AME Church’s legacy of faith, justice, and service, the WMS empowers women to be spiritual leaders, advocates for social change, and agents of transformation in their local churches and communities. Through prayer, service projects, and initiatives that uplift the underserved, the WMS of the 6th District carries out the Great Commission, spreading the love of Christ across Texas and beyond.  Join us as we work together to make a lasting impact through faith in action

YOUNG PEOPLE'S AND CHILDREN DIVISION (YPD)

The Young People’s and Children’s Division (YPD) of the 6th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church is a vibrant ministry dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth, leadership, and service of youth and young adults up to age 26. As the youth arm of the Women’s Missionary Society (WMS), the YPD equips young people with the tools to live out their faith, serve their communities, and develop as Christian leaders. Through worship, mission work, educational programs, and fellowship, the YPD empowers the next generation to grow in Christ while making a meaningful impact in the church and the world.
