The Augusta Annual Conference serves churches across East Georgia within the Sixth Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Its coverage includes communities surrounding Augusta and extending into neighboring counties. Grounded in the AME Church’s connectional system, the conference gathers clergy and laity for worship, reflection, reporting, and planning. Ministry within the region is supported through two Presiding Elder Districts: Augusta North and Augusta South.
