Operation Voter Turnout/ Personal Voter Plan
Sixth Episcopal District / AME Church
The Personal Voter Plan (“PVP”) guide will assist each voter in planning how your vote and the vote of 10 families, friends, neighbors, or coworkers will be delivered, safely and accurately for the 2020 Georgia U.S. Senate runoff. Voter registration deadline is December 7th 2020.
How will I vote?
· Absentee ballot
o Request your Absentee Ballot - NOW!
o Ballots will be mailed out by November 18th
o Mail or return your completed ballot to an official Dropbox by December 28th. If you have any questions contact your local "Operation Voter Turnout" committee. (IF YOU RECEIVE THIS COMMUNICATION AFTER DECEMBER 18TH ITS TOO LATE for Absentee Voting BUT it's NOT TOO LATE TO VOTE! Skip Down to Early Vote instructions.
· Early Vote
o Georgia Early Vote begins on December 14th and ends on December 31st, 2021.
o Locate your early vote polling location/ it may be different than your regular voting place. (“Operation Voter Turnout” committee at your local AME Church can help)
o Set a target date for yourself to vote and secure transportation if needed. (look at your calendar and PLAN to Vote on YOUR CALENDAR, Tip: The Earlier the Better and take a voting buddy with you).
o Vote on your Targeted Date.
o Confirm your vote one week later at your Georgia “My Voter Page”
· Election Day
o Election Day is TUESDAY, January 5th.
o Confirm the address of your polling place.
o Designate a time and secure transportation to the polls
o Cast your ballot
o Confirm to your churches the "Operation Voter Turnout" committee that you have voted.
Every congregant should provide the names and contact information of 10 family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers to your “Operation Voter Turnout” Committee by November 23rd. The committee will provide any support and technical assistance you need. We ask that you reach out to them and ask each one to develop a Personal Voter Plan, based on the plan that you have.
