The Personal Voter Plan (“PVP”) guide will assist each voter in planning how you will deliver your Vote, along with the Vote of 10 families, friends, neighbors, or coworkers, in the 2022 Georgia Run-off election during the early in-person Vote or on election day December 6th, 2022.
How will I vote? If you have a problem, call voter protection (866) our Vote
- Absentee ballot
- Imminently request an absentee ballot.
- Download an Absentee Ballot.
- You need a Georgia Driver’s license or State Identification Card Number to complete your Absentee Ballot. If you do not have a Drivers’ license or state I.D., contact your OVT committee. - Mail or return your completed ballot to an official Dropbox or by Mail by December 1st. Contact your local “Operation Voter Turnout” committee if you have any questions. (IF YOU RECEIVE THIS COMMUNICATION AFTER December 1st. It’s TOO LATE for Absentee Voting, BUT it’s NOT TOO LATE TO VOTE! So skip Down to Early Vote.
- Early Vote
- Georgia Early Vote begins on November 28th and ends on December 6th, 2022.
- Locate your early vote polling location/ it may be different than your regular voting place. (“Operation Voter Turnout” committee at your local AME Church can help)
- Set a target date for yourself to vote and secure transportation if needed. (Look at your calendar and PLAN a specific DATE TO VOTE, Tip: The Earlier, the Better, and take a voting buddy with you).
- Vote on your Targeted Date.
- Confirm your Vote one week later at your Georgia “My Voter Page.”
- Primary Election Day
- Election Day is TUESDAY, December 6th, 2022.
- Confirm the address of your polling place.
- Designate a time and secure transportation to the polls. If you need a ride, call (877)-524-8683
- Cast your ballot (Remember to bring your I.D. and report any voting issues to your local OVT committee)
- Confirm that you have voted to your churches to the “Operation Voter Turnout” committee.
Every congregant should provide the names and contact information of 10 family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers to your “Operation Voter Turnout” Committee by November 28th. 2022. The committee will provide any support or technical assistance you need. We ask that you use our “PVP’ to assist your ten (10) family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers develop a plan to vote in the upcoming Georgia primary.
